Our kennel name “Mykiss” is part of the Latin for Steelhead – “Oncorhynchus mykiss”, which is one of the many species of game fish found in the PNW that we actively fish for throughout the year.
We live in a rural part of Washington State on 7 acres and though we are less than 7 miles from I-5 we enjoy an abundance of wildlife. We share our home with a couple of horses, a barn cat and our beloved Labradors. The labs all live IN our house, lounge on the furniture and some are our nightly bed warmers. We do have kennels and crates galore and when appropriate we use them, but most of the time they have the run of the house and enjoy a very large yard to play in.

Our kennel has been lucky enough to have the opportunity to advertise our dogs within the Labrador Quarterly, here are just a few adverts that we are proud of.
